The Kindred & Co. blog is here for you - resources & rhythms to practice being and doing; stories from us & the community in our pursuit of living as human beings; business behind the scenes (BTS) announcements & celebrations.
So keep this in mind friend: Whether you’re an avid planner or just starting out, it doesn’t have to be done perfectly or look perfect. Creating a rhythm to using your planner and organizing one takes time to develop, it won’t magically happen when a new year rolls around (sadly), or even just because we want it to. It’ll take some work, discipline, time, and commitment, and grace. Over at Kindred & Co., we might just call all that “intentionality.”
If Kindred & Co. is a company about encouraging women to pursue a life of wholehearted intention and abundant joy, then that means choosing to make decisions and live in postures that allow for that to happen. Which means, the comparison lists I’m tempted to make, do not belong.
We are so very excited to announce that we have our first journal coming to the Kindred & Co. shop starting in July 2020! *squeals of excitement*
This is something you have been asking for, others outside the Kindred & Co. community have asked for, and other brands and companies have suggested we look into. So how could we deny all those three things?
“Being a small business owner means you are the accountant, the marketing manager, the sales rep, the social media strategist, the content creator, the product manager, the customer service concierge, the intern, the CEO, the CFO, and the janitor.”
In my time living in Turkey, I have lead teams, married a Turkish man and started a small company about Turkish gastronomy. While my love for Turkey is deep, my journey since moving to this country has been challenging. Every step of the way, I have wrestled with finding my core identity in this foreign yet familiar culture. I have tried on every hat available to me in my search for my ultimate identity. So far, I have found that searching for identity can be a cyclical pattern of unsteady emotions if we do not have a secure place for our hats to hang.
“Well, I was on your website looking at a planner for my daughter when I noticed that your mission and values about intentionality, simplicity, and ‘be’ fall right in line with the upcoming theme of IF:Gathering 2020. So I reached out to the founder and asked about the possibility of Kindred & Co being a vendor at the upcoming gathering.”
At the end of every month we write a reflection blog post that correlates with the reflection questions in the Kindred Planner.
Consider this your invitation to reflect along with us, coffee (or tea) in one hand and Kindred Planner (or journal) in the other.
Your worth, who you are and who you are becoming are so important to the heart of Kindred & Co. that we put together a series of blog posts to help you practice being.
Sweet like honey are the encouraging stories you'll find here.
Read the stories from our community gathered here! Some stories of K&Co. products, yes, but more important, stories of how they are living as human beings, finding their identity first and foremost in their inherent worth.
